General characteristics

EUROLUX® DIGITAL PRINTING 7 YEARS sheeting is made of retro reflective self adhesive material which is protected on the top by a clear and/or coloured transparent coating (PVC free materials). The sheeting is used for high performance in digital printing as advertising signs, industrial signs or emblem applications and for those signs requiring an excellent retro reflective power, both in day and night light. EUROLUX® DIGITAL PRINTING 7 YEARS gives a lifetime high resistance to high humidity and sunlight exposure.

Sheeting identification mark

EUROLUX® DIGITAL PRINTING 7 YEARS sheetings come with or without an indelible mark (commercial mark) identifying the manufacturer and the guaranteed minimum lifetime exposure.

Photometric properties

EUROLUX® DIGITAL PRINTING 7 YEARS sheetings, for all available colours, are within the colorimetric (code x, y) and luminance (Y) parameters fixed by the norms (EN 12899-1 : 2007 DM 31st March 1995, AENOR). The coefficient of retroreflection values exceed the minimum requested by the norms in force (EN 12899-1 : 2007, DM 31st March 1995, AENOR)

Product printability

High performance printing on EUROLUX® ENGINEERING GRADE DIGITAL PRINTING 7 YEARS sheetings can be carried out through DIGITAL TECNIQUE with solvent and eco-solvent inks. The specific ink’s adhesion has to be duly tested by the user after prior trials.

Excellent results have been obtained using screen printing technique with inks especially designed for road signs.
