General characteristics:

EUROLUX® ENGINEER GRADE CLASS 1 sheeting is made of retro reflective self adhesive material protected on the top by a clear and/or coloured transparent coating (PVC free materials). The sheeting is used on vertical traffic road sign applications and for those signs requiring an excellent retro reflective power, both in day and night light.

EUROLUX® ENGINEER GRADE CLASS 1 gives high resistance in terms of lifetime and against conditions of high humidity and exposure to sunlight.

Sheeting identification mark:

EUROLUX® ENGINEER GRADE CLASS 1 sheetings come with an indelible embedded mark (commercial mark) identifying the manufacturer and the guaranteed exposure minimum lifetime. The indelibility of the marking has been proved in accordance to the indications fixed by the norms of the product.

This mark maintains the same features far beyond the granted life of the product.

 

Photometric properties:

EUROLUX® ENGINEER GRADE CLASS 1 sheetings, for all available colours, are within the colorimetric (code x, y) and luminance (Y) parameters fixed by the norms and last for at least 7 years in an outdoor environment.

The coefficient of retroreflection values exceed the minimum requested by the norms in force (EN 12899-1 : 2007, DM 31st March 1995, AENOR).

 

Product printability:

EUROLUX® ENGINEER GRADE CLASS 1 reflective sheeting can be screen printed with polyurethane and vinyl inks especially developed for road traffic signs. Excellent results have been achieved by using fast drying EUROLUX® XFM inks. These inks are certified EN 12899-1 : 2007 and DM 31st March 1995, AENOR.

EUROLUX® ENGINEER GRADE CLASS 1 reflective sheeting can be used for digital printing with solvent, eco-solvent and U.V. inks.
